Research Interests

As a scientist of bio-nanotechnology I have a strong interest in reconstitution of biological system with biomaterials such lipids, proteins, DNA, etc. to create artificial cells. Sometimes we can use non-organic materials to substitute the functions of the real living system. Based on my work experience to develop water filtering biomembrane using water transporting protein (Aquaporin), I have also huge interest in functional proteins for industrial applications.
